dieting.. menu planning, finances is the theme for january.
Deb gave each of us a file folder and a list of things to organize (comes in handy for income taxes as well) as well as medical, dental, school, educational, bills, utilities, banking etc.
Not only do we learn to cook things, we learn how to take care of ourselves.
Deb’s goal (and mine too) is to lose 50 lbs by June
So we set up meal planning ideas, and what she and others can do to reach those goals.
we break it down into 1 pound a week of flesh to loose. 😉
Tina taught us about some of the seminars she’s been watching online – weight loss – adrenaline glands, sugars, carbs.. what and how to cut them out.
I didn’t know that SUGAR slows down our LIVER”S processes.
get rid of sugar, carbs, white flour out of diet and your liver can function quickly to shed pounds.. she’s lost 4 pounds after doing a liver cleanse.
I noticed my bathing suit was super loose on me so I jumped on the scale and was SHOCKED!!!
I’ve lost 12 pounds! HOLY, since working out at the YMCA 🙂 Sweet Happy dance (no dieting, just cutting out sugar, salt from diet).
