the idea girl says
My goal is to get to Windsor Ontario Canada and get some nice photos of the Peace Fountain. It’s over 700 feet of waterworks, floating on the Detroit River and it’s something I’ve tried to film for 2 years now!
The first year on my way I found out it wasn’t opened yet and then things went haywire with the weather and every time we wanted to travel there would be mass thunder and lightning, heavy rains, hail stones and tornadoes… so we didn’t go..
The second year, another powerful storm hit and caused a 2 week long outages along the QEW routes we’d have to take. and since I need to use a washroom all the time, I need that and gas stations to be opened, so that trip was a no go!
This year, fingers crossed were going to try and get there, quickly, grab the photos, check out another pet friendly hotel and then mosey on back home to sit in the nice cool air and so I can get back to work on my WOW! Signal data research formula diagram sketches. 🙂
The best time to visit Coventry Gardens and the Peace Fountain are between the months of May and September and between the hours of 11am and 11pm. That’s when the true beauty of this 80 year old park is on display.
